Spice Girl singer Melanie Brown got dressed into her tennis whites for the opening of the Sony Ericsson Open at the Crandon Park Tennis Centre in Florida.
The former Dancing With The Stars contestant teamed up with male world no.2 Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic in an exhibition match with singer Jay Sean, who was paired with Ana Ivanovic, a former world no.1 Serbian professional.
The high-adrenaline match was hotly contested from start to finish with Mel B and Jay Sean keeping the crowd engaged. But in the end it was Jay and Ana who snuck through to win in the closing minutes and claim the Glam Set Match title.
Afterwards, Mel said: 'Playing in this match was an amazing experience, as not only am I really competitive when it comes to sport, but I had the chance to play with Novak, who is undoubtedly one of the best players around right now! 'I love the glamour and buzz of Miami so being here and playing tennis in front of this fantastic audience was just great!'
The Sony Ericsson Open is a 12-day tournament featuring the top 96 men and women tennis players in the world.
