Emma Bunton: 'Spice Girls Would Struggle'

Emma Bunton has admitted the Spice Girls would have struggled if they launched their career today.

The former Baby Spice, 34, said reality shows had become crucial in launching new pop stars. And while she "hoped the Spice Girls would do quite well" on The X Factor, she admitted they were lacking in the vocal department.

Mum-of-one Emma said: "We never claimed to be the best singers or the best dancers. But we definitely had an energy and a belief and sometimes that is just as important."

Emma will present Five's new TV search for a group, Don't Stop Believing, which kicks off this Sunday.

She warned contestants to expect tough comments from judges Duncan James, Anastacia, Tamzin Outhwaite and Chucky Klapow.
