Mel B at the NBC Universal Summer Press Day

Mel B returns to television screens later this year as the new host of Oxygen’s “Dance You’re Ass Off,” but that might not be the only reality show she’s heading to.

When asked by AccessHollywood.com’s Laura Saltman on Monday at NBC’s Summer Press Day about the rumors she is being considered to take a seat at Simon Cowell’s “X Factor” judges’ table, Mel said she’d love to be a part of such a project.

“There’s always rumors. Rumors are rumors,” Mel said, swatting at the claims she’s set to join the FOX show, which will launch stateside in Fall 2011. “But whoever gets the job will be great. I think it’s a great job.”

Simon is known for telling it like it is, something the former Spice Girl also has a penchant for. So, how does she envision it working should she get the “X Factor” gig?

“That’d be perfect,” she said. “We know exactly where we stand with each other.”

While not everyone finds Simon cuddly, Mel knows his number. “He’s a really sweet guy,” the British lass said. “I like him.”

While Mel would welcome another show on her plate, she revealed she’s also open to adding another child to her family with husband Stephen Belafonte.

“I love kids. Between me and my husband, we have three,” Mel said. “So yeah, we definitely want to have some together, which would be good.”

The singer added that she wouldn’t mind increasing the male to female ration in their household. “It’d be nice to throw a boy in there too because we’ve got three girls,” she said. “We’ll see.”

This week Play.com listed – pre-orders at the ready people – “Totally Fit” for the PS3,Xbox and Wii. The title is not scheduled until November so a good chance it may be a Move or Natal title.
