As one half of the world's most famous couple, Victoria Beckham is no stranger to appearing on magazine covers. But the 36-year-old star has certainly outdone herself this time as she has landed her FIFTH Vogue cover by gracing the front of the Turkish edition of the magazine.
Victoria is seen smouldering for the camera in a sexy black fringed dress and studded heels on the cover, shot by renowned photographer Ellen Von Unwerth.
Victoria has previously appeared on the covers of the British, German, Indian and Russian versions of the magazine by herself, as well as appearing alongside husband David on the cover of the American magazine in 2003, and with the Spice Girls on the front of the American edition in 1998.
However, Victoria has yet to land the prestigious American cover on her own. She has been friendly with Wintour for many years and admitted she knew she was being taken seriously as a fashion designer when the editor took her calls.
She said last year: 'I’ve been on the covers of Vogue, I’m respected in the fashion industry, Anna Wintour takes my calls!'
Inside this month's edition of Turkish Vogue, Victoria is seen showing off her svelte and tanned physique in a series of lingerie, swimwear and dresses.
While showcasing new collections from many Turkish designers, including Yildirim Mayruk, she also uses the opportunity to plug her own range by wearing a tan limited-edition trench coat from her Autumn/Winter 2010 collection.
In the accompanying text, Beckham praised Turkish designers for their 'avant-garde' style. Showing a racier side, Posh flaunts her figure in Agent Provacateur lingerie, teamed with killer heels from her favourite footwear designers Christian Louboutin and Brian Atwood.
Victoria has managed to reinvent herself over the last decade, transforming her style from a WAG into a celebrated designer with a unique flair for fashion. She is currently in the middle of organising her fashion show which will showcase items from her new range during New York Fashion Week this September.
Talking about a previous collection, Victoria explained: 'Forties and Fifties underwear played a big influence on the collection, but the inspiration is me. I have tried every one of the dresses on, lived in them, to work out what feels right. I hope the silhouette is what every woman wants to wear.'
